My name is Dawn Summers. And, yeah, my sister's the almighty, the original, Slayer, Buffy Summers. I'm just a Key sent to her, and I bet she hasn't even noticed that I'm gone yet. Which is just fine with me, because I came here to get away and maybe, just a little, I want her to come look for me.

I'm seventeen, missing out on my last year of high school, and I used to live in Italy. And, you know, it's not really half as bad as it sounds, the abadonment part, I mean, because Buffy can have a life if she'd pay me some attention every once in a while and forgot about the Immortal. I mean, he's Immortal, he'll still be around after I die, or whatever it is Keys do when they no longer exist. I just want some idea that she actually cares.

And now I'm depressed. I think I'll finish this once I'm settled in.
